Environment Setup

To get started with Dashui Theme, the only requirement is a Node Js, Gulp, TailwindCSS & Bootstrap js plugins environment.

Please note: this step is absolutely optional. It aims for advanced user who want to speed up development process with professional grade Front-End toolset shiped with Dashui. If you are not familiar with these tools and have no time to dive in you can still use plain HTML / CSS / JS to customize Dashui. Files you need are located inside Dashui/dist folder. In this case you can skip this and next sections. Happy coding :)

Below are the tools which we use to building a Dashui theme. For more detail of the toolset, go to their official website.

Node Js

Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform, back-end JavaScript runtime environment that runs on the V8 engine and executes JavaScript code outside a web browser.

Gulp Js

A toolkit to automate & enhance your workflow. Gulp is an open-source JavaScript toolkit used as a streaming build system in front-end web development.

Tailwind CSS

TailwindCSS works by scanning all of your HTML files, JavaScript components, and any other templates for class names, generating the corresponding styles and then writing them to a static CSS file.

Bootstrap 5 (we are use only JS)

Bootstrap is a free and open-source JS Plugins framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web development.
